Emmerdale fans were left in floods of tears as they bid farewell to Faith Dingle as her terminal cancer continues to develop.
During Wednesday’s visit to the Dales, Cain and his sister Chas took their loving mum to their own version of Blackpool beach.
The village fade a final effort for the raven-haired beauty as they decked out the village with seaside decorations and enjoyed a slew of seaside games such as hook a duck and the coconut shy.

Fan favourite characters Rodney Blackstock and Diane Sugden returned to the village just in time to say goodbye to the loveable character.
But one of the most heartbreaking scenes in the half-hour episode was the scene where Cain and his mother shared a warm embrace as they swayed to the 1950s music with sand between their toes.
It was at this point that the emotional matriarch confessed: “I love you, son” which left the usually macho hunk lost for words.
But just before he was about to say the same to his elderly mother, the music on the broken beatbox stopped which ruined the moment.
Fans soon flooded to Twitter to beg the star to share his feeling with his mother before it was too late.
One user penned: "Cain has to say those three words to Faith before it's too late, if he doesn't he'll go on a downward spiral of grief #emmerdale."
Another agreed: "Faith and Cain dancing, Faith telling Cain that she loves him, I can't cope [crying emoji] #Emmerdale."
A third chimed in with: "I hope Faith knows Cain wanted to say he loves her #Emmerdale."

One ITV viewer added: "How can they get rid of Faith, she is one amazing actress @emmerdale #emmerdale."
Another agreed: "Sally Dexter deserves all the awards for this raw and emotional scene yet touching & still keeps her comedy skills in devastating Faith's cancer storyline #Emmerdale."
