Emmerdale fans seem to think Meena Jutla (played by Paige Sandhu) could be making an epic return after Caleb Milligan (Will Ash) was attacked.
Fans might recall that a defence barrister Milligan was present during Meena’s court trial – with the same surname as Caleb, could she have been his wife?
Caleb was pushed off a hill in Emmerdale on Thursday and is now in a critical condition in hospital.
The “whodunnit” is now at the centre of the ITV soap stories and fans are trying to predict who could be behind the attempted murder.
Some have “worked out” a potential link between Caleb and Meena, leading some to guess the serial killer is back and was, in fact, the one behind the push.
If the defence barrister was Caleb’s wife, this would also make the barrister Nicky Milligan’s (Lewis Cope) mother.
Some have taken to social media to make the connection, with Twitter user @sofaneilas sharing: “Are you ready? Grab that hat insurance because you’re gonna need it… Nicky’s mother is none other than Barrister Milligan!!! -MIC DROP- #emmerdale.”
@jorjah_mac penned: “Is Nicky’s mum the Defence Barrister Milligan (Amy Robbins) from Meena’s court plea hearing? Is that how Caleb was able to help Kyle with legal stuff? #emmerdale.”

Another agreed: “His wife is Meena’s barrister whose surname is also Milligan.”
Others posted their prediction that Meena could have pushed Caleb in an act of revenge, with @joy9kat writing: “It’s obviously Meena! #Emmerdale.”
Sharing a snap of Meena @TwellyWatcher predicted: “Big Plot Twist: The queen villain of Emmerdale was the one to push Caleb after she had enough of him stealing her limelight #Emmerdale.”

Does this mean Meena could have somehow escaped prison and sought revenge on the barrister?
With so many potential culprits with a motive in the village, Meena being the attacker could be a huge plot twist.
Meena killed several Emmerdale characters when she began to show her violent streak in 2021.
She was given a long sentence behind bars a year ago – but has she found a way to escape?
