Emmerdale fans work out Chloe dies as Mackenzie faces impossible decision

Adam Thomas would 'love to go back' on Emmerdale

Emmerdale viewers have predicted how it will all end for Chloe Harris (played by Jessie Elland) on the ITV soap following Friday night’s episode of the serial drama.

Super Soap Week is just around the corner and fans have been speculating what explosive storylines will unfold in the Yorkshire Dales.

Earlier this week, Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb) slept with his ex Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) behind his partner Chloe’s back.

To make matters worse, the fling happened the night before his and Chloe’s son Reuben’s christening at The Woolpack.

Charity works at the pub and was left heartbroken when Mack started gushing about his love for Chloe in front of her.

In Friday’s instalment, she hinted at killing her ex-lover and is clearly extremely upset about everything.

Despite cheating on Charity with Chloe and having her baby earlier this year, Charity still seems to love Mack.

Emmerdale fans are now certain Mack will have to choose between Charity and Chloe during Super Soap Week in October.

Taking to Reddit, one user theorised: “Someone said that Mack will be forced to decide who to save in a stunt, Chloe or Charity, I reckon he saves Charity and leaves Chloe to die, now whether she’s killed off or not is irrelevant but if Chloe survives this and she knows about him and Charity, then it’s curtains for the most boring relationship in the show’s history.

“If not and Chloe dies, then it’ll be Mack in a situation where he’s hopeful that Charity will help him raise Reuben, she says no and commits to Liam, leading to the Liam, Charity and Mack [love] triangle in 2024.”

The theory comes after soap spoilers revealed Charity goes on a date with Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) in upcoming scenes.

Will the pair hit it off or does Charity’s heart still belong to Mack?

To complicate matters further, Charity’s ex Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) is set to return to the village.

Could she rock up in the Yorkshire Dales this October and declare her love for Charity?

Charity actress Emma has hinted she will be at the centre of a storyline that unfolds this autumn but could not give away many details.

She told Digital Spy: “I just know that it’s going to be spectacular in one way or another and we’re due to get the scripts shortly, but it’s going to be quite big.”

Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and ITVX.
