Emmerdale: Caleb agrees to allow Kim to send him money
Emmerdale viewers now know Caleb Miligan (played by Will Ash) is the son of Frank Tate and his son Nicky (Lewis Cope) is embedded at Home Farm to try and take back his share of his inheritance. Of course, Kim Tate (Claire King) isn’t happy with the news of a secret heir and is doing everything in her power to stop them getting their hands on it. In the latest instalment of the ITV soap, Caleb overheard Kim sharing her plans to hide money to Will Taylor (Dean Andrews) and used it to her advantage. Now fans think they’ve worked out how Caleb will ruin Kim.
Caleb made it clear to Kim he didn’t want to go into business with her if she had someone chasing after her money.
Kim tried to reassure him the inheritance claim was fake and she was moving money to an offshore account so she could go ahead with their plans for a stud farm.
However, Caleb played it cool and continued to play Kim as he insisted it was too risky.
His game worked as later on Kim offered to send Caleb the money for the deal if he bought everything in his name.
In the Woolpack, Kim told Caleb: “Maybe I underestimated you?” as he asked: “Why’s that?”
The Home Farm businesswoman continued: “Well, I never had you down as risk averse. You know, terrified to colour just a bit outside the lines.”
Caleb hit back: “I take risks when I’ve got all of the facts and right now, I haven’t. Besides it’s hardly smart to be flashing your cash around right now is it?”
“Alright, say I wasn’t the one making the offer,” Kim suggested. “Say I transfer the funds via some indirect means and you buy everything in your name?”
Caleb told Kim: “That’s not the way I do business,” but she argued: “You know we’d be fools to walk away from this opportunity. Come on Caleb, live a little. It will pay dividends, trust me.”
“Okay fine,” he agreed. “Just this once but you’ve got to sort this situation out of yours. Get it under control sooner rather than later.”
With Kim agreeing to send large amounts of money to Caleb, fans are worried he will take it and run or even use it to ruin her.
Theorising on Twitter about Caleb’s next move, @mikepriestley13 tweeted: “Kim should put all her assests or money in wills account not bloody Caleb’s #Emmerdale.”
