Adam Thomas would 'love to go back' on Emmerdale
Former Emmerdale favourite Adele Silva, who played Kelly Windsor on the ITV soap, has dramatically switched careers and is now working as a teacher.
MailOnline reports Adele, who starred in the soap between 1993-2011, is now teaching at the National Film and Television School.
She left the soap when she became pregnant with her now eight-year-old daughter, Sienna, and has never returned to the ITV staple.
Kelly was a key character on the soap who took part in some controversial plots including dating her teacher and having an affair with her stepbrother.
Adele took a five-year break from the soap and returned from the hiatus in 2005 when her character came back to the Dales.

Adele made another exit in 2007 followed by a brief return in 2011.
During her time on the soap, Adele was nominated for the Sexiest Female award in 2008’s British Soap Awards.
She has also been nominated in separate awards for best actress and best couple alongside Nick Miles.
Since her soap stint, she moved to LA to further her acting aspirations and was spotted in shop assistant roles and told the same publication: “In this climate, you can either sell your soul or do an honest day’s work.”

Despite her current teaching role back in the UK, it seems Adele could still be up for an epic Emmerdale comeback.
The 42-year-old told The Sun: “I’d definitely go back if they asked me. Obviously, Kelly’s son is there and she’s not seen him for years.
“Then there’s little April. You can imagine Marlon’s face if her auntie Kelly turned up. He’d be horrified.

“My little girl is a bit older now. She’s happy and settled, it’s been great spending time at home with her being a mum.”
Outside of Emmerdale, Adele took a minor acting role in Doctor Who story, Survival, and has appeared in The Bill, EastEnders and Hollyoaks.
Emmerdale continues on Friday at 7.30pm on ITV.
