Emmerdale: Rhona asks her mum how long she’s staying
Emmerdale’s Rhona Goskirk (played by Zoe Henry) is set to get a life-changing surprise this week when Marlon Dingle (Mark Charnock) blurts out that her ex-husband Gus Malcolms (Alan McKenna) has gone against her wishes and used their frozen embryos with his new wife.
In March this year, Gus showed up asking Rhona if they could use one of the embryos, which she believed had been destroyed ages ago.
Shocked and confused by his request, she also discovered he’d been in touch with the clinic and acted on her behalf without her knowledge.
In official spoilers released by ITV, Marlon breaks the news to Rhona that he saw Gus at the hospital with his pregnant wife Lucy.
Naturally Rhona struggles to process this realising that they are having a baby that is biologically hers.

Although in shock, she is determined to cover herself and taps up Ethan Anderson (Emile John) for some legal advice.
However, he makes clear that to pursue a case would mean an arduous legal battle with Gus and Lucy.
Marlon and her mother Mary (Louise Jameson) convince her to try talking to Gus before making any decisions so she arranges to meet him the following day.
When he fails to show, a furious Rhona stakes out his house and is aghast to witness him trying to escape with suitcases.

This leads to a messy confrontation between the former couple when a heavily pregnant Lucy emerges from the house.
Meanwhile, back in the village, Marlon and Mary, not knowing where she is, grow increasingly worried about Rhona’s disappearance given how emotional she is.
As they begin to panic, Rhona and Lucy have a confrontation that takes a distressing turn when Lucy doubles over in pain as her waters break.
In a bizarre turn of events, Rhona finds herself driving Lucy to the hospital so she can give birth to what is actually her biological child.
How will she react once the baby arrives and will this affect her relationship with Marlon?
Emmerdale is on ITV Monday to Friday at 7.30pm with an hour long episode on Thursdays.
