Emmerdale: Bob breaks up with Wendy
Emmerdale’s Wendy Posner (played by Susan Cookson) could soon be left heartbroken on the ITV soap after Cathy Hope (Gabrielle Dowling) returns to the village.
The teenager left Emmerdale this spring to move in with her brother in the Lake District in a bid to recover from her health issues.
She had been struggling with heavy periods and extreme mood swings which got so bad that she lashed out at her dad Bob Hope (Tony Audenshaw) and accidentally injured him.
Cathy could not focus on her education and started stealing bottles of vodka to block out her troubles.
However, she is set to return to the Yorkshire Dales to restart her life – but has she recovered?

Has she managed to turn things around over the past few months?
She arrives back to her dad recovering from a heart attack, which could seriously worry Cathy.
However, she soon leans on Wendy to reveal she is still struggling with her issues.
Meanwhile, Wendy is working hard to keep her and Bob’s relationship afloat despite his insecurities.

Will Wendy feel torn between Cathy and Bob and end up helping just one of them through their emotional struggles?

Wendy had been seeing Liam Cavanagh (Jonny McPherson) behind Bob’s back for months before finally being caught out.
Bob did not take the news of the infidelity well and lashed out at both Wendy and Liam over it.
He’s trying to move on with Wendy but he might not be able to forgive her in the long run.
Will he end up telling Cathy about Wendy’s affair? The teenager could spiral out of control if she finds out.
