Emmerdales Charity Dingle has evil plan for Mackenzie Boyd

Emmerdale: Caleb and Charity share a steamy kiss

Charity Dingle (played by Emma Atkins) teased “vengeance” for her Emmerdale character after the drama surrounding her and Mackenzie Boyd (Lawrence Robb).

When asked about her character’s part in this year’s Super Soap Week, Emma indicated revenge could be on the cards for Charity.

With Chloe Harris (Jessie Elland) also said to be involved, could the two women decide to take extreme action which could lead to Mackenzie’s death?

Emma stated: “I’m very excited! Some Super Soap Weeks I don’t manage to be part of, which is just the way it goes.

“So to be at the centre and for it to be quite a big storm brewing – not literally a storm, we’ve done that!”

Speaking to Digital Spy, she added: “At the moment [Charity is] in a very angry state of mind.

“I think there’s definitely vengeance on the cards, in terms of: how can she actually allow this guy to have done what he’s done?

“So she’s toying with that and all of her family and friends are saying: ‘Just leave it, walk away, forget it, move on’. She’s like: ‘No!'”

Emma went on to say Charity will be confronting the issues that have left her “broken”.

She continued: “It’s not going away, it’s not dying down.”

Charity was left broken-hearted after it turned out her husband Mackenzie had cheated on her with Chloe, who later gave birth to his child.

Once she eventually found out, the couple’s relationship was damaged beyond repair so Mackenzie decided to start a romance with Chloe.

The three will be at the centre of the dramatic Super Soap Week, and with Emma teasing revenge, could Mackenzie end up being killed?

Perhaps the two women decide to team up against Mackenzie, who has in the past treated both of them badly.

Could this October see the duo forming a friendship and deciding to take down the villain?

It could be that they want to scare Mackenzie away but he ends up dying – how would the Emmerdale women cope with such a disaster?

Emmerdale continues on Monday at 7.30pm on ITV.
