Emmerdale: Nicky tells Gabby he loves someone else
Actor Eddie Osei joined the Emmerdale cast on Thursday as a mysterious character with a murky past and deep connections, named Victor.
In a captivating sequence, viewers witnessed Vicar Charles (played by Kevin Mathurin) engage in shifty behaviour and secretive phone calls.
This took a sinister turn when Charles was shown visiting a high-security prison, leading to a tense encounter with Victor.
It soon became clear Victor is Charles’ father and he’s been newly released from prison after serving a lengthy sentence.

“While Claudette is confronted by the husband she prayed she’d never see again, Charles has to face up to painful past traumas and he makes no secret of the fact that Victor is not welcome here. But who will win out?”
Victor actor Eddie added: “I feel privileged to be joining such a great show and I am honoured to be working with the fantastic cast and crew.
“It is very exciting for me to be playing Victor who is such an enigmatic character and who causes the Anderson family so much trouble!”
Will viewers find out why he was locked up for so long soon on the ITV soap, or will it be a mystery for months to come?
Charles just wants to enjoy his life with his love interest Manpreet Sharma (Rebecca Sarker), but his dad’s arrival could complicate matters.
Will he and Manpreet manage to get through the inevitably bumpy road ahead or will they part ways?
Emmerdale airs on weeknights at 7.30pm on ITV and ITVX.
