But when Mack promises his commitment to their baby Reuben who has finally been given the all-clear, Chloe accidentally gets caught up in a tender moment and goes in for a kiss.
Despite Mack's rejection, Chloe begins to develop feelings and starts to fall for him all over again.
Later on in the week, Moses runs towards Mackenzie, and Charity is forced to let them spend time together.
With Moses showing signs that he missed him, Mackenzie tries to make the most of his time together with Charity and Moses at the playground.
Despite their dire situation, Charity enjoys being a family unit again and agrees to think about including Mackenzie in Moses' upcoming birthday plans.
Meanwhile, Amy begins to question Chloe over her intentions with Mackenzie. However despite Amy’s warnings – it looks as though Chloe is ready to risk it all again.
The news comes after actress Emma Atkins who plays Charity Dingle hinted that her character might forgive her husband Mackenzie.
Speaking to Express.co.uk, she said: "Maybe their relationship is in tatters at the moment, but the beauty of soap is you've always got to bump into those people because you live in the same village unless somebody leaves or moves out or kills somebody, which hopefully that's not gonna happen with those guys."
She also added: "There is so much history there. She's finally put all her eggs in one basket with Mack and she's finally laid herself bare."
