Love is Blind has made a comeback with more singletons bearing their souls in order to try and find the love of their lives, without seeing them before the engagement. The show follows various couples and potential matches as they get to know each other in the dating pods in the first few episodes. Andrew Liu was spending a lot of time with Nancy Rodiguez in the pods, but they weren’t exactly on the right page.

Were Andrew’s tears fake?
In episode three of Love is Blind season three, Andrew got down on one knee in the dating pods and asked for Nancy’s hand in marriage.
Sadly for him, she rejected Andrew, believing that the 30-year-old wasn’t the right man for her.
She later explained to the cameras: “Men have this persona they want to give off, and so there is a lot of deception.
“Andrew is too cool, too calm, too collected. It’s not what I envisioned my husband to be.”
He then also did a solo interview with the producers eager to see his reaction to her turning him down.
But no one expected Andrew to “fake tears” so he could get sympathy from Netflix viewers, not even the producers.
Using eyedrops, the Love is Blind star tried to make it look as if he was deeply hurt, stating how he was heartbroken by what happened with Nancy.
What he didn’t realise though was that the Love is Blind creators were going to leave the behind-the-scenes clip in to show his true colours.
The shocking moment started with the producers asking what Andrew was thinking about when he questioned if they were rolling.
He then pulled out a small bottle of eyedrops and said: “Mind if I…? It’s just too much.”
At first, it seemed he needed the drops as his eyes were hurting.
Andrew went on to collect himself and state: “It didn’t feel good, to be honest. I guess I feel satisfied that I went for it. Yeah, man. It hurts.”

He pulled out the drops for a second time and stated: “I guess this is a good moment for that”, implying that they were being used for fake tears.
Andrew asked the producers if he was OK to do that and they simply said “if your eyes are hurting you, then by all means”, giving him the benefit of the doubt.
Letting the drops stream down his face, Andrew sniffled before saying: “I never thought I could care for someone that would bring me to tears.”
Fans were shocked by what they saw, taking to Twitter to express their disbelief.
One viewer said: “Andrew with the eye drops for fake tears saying totally rehearsed to camera ‘I never thought I could care for someone who brought me to tears’ omg please help.”
Another commented: “One of the #LoveIsBlind producers had it out for Andrew and made sure the clip of him fake crying made it into the final cut.”
Whereas a third added: “Wait I’m so confused with Andrew and the eye drops … fake tears ??
“She dodged a bullet.”
Love is Blind season 3 is available to watch on Netflix.
