This is the long-awaited moment that sees previously dead Cindy Beale (Michelle Collins) return to Walford.
EastEnders has released exciting new pictures showing the first time she steps onto her old stomping ground – and expect big drama to follow.
In upcoming scenes, we will see her in France once more, and it has been confirmed that in the week that follows, she is home.
In fact, the soap is setting aside the entire week to focus on the big Beale comeback – and the showdowns and shocks that come with it.
Her return will ruffle some feathers and leave jaws on the floor, with everyone having believed she died in prison giving birth to Cindy Jnr.
Kathy Beale (Gillian Taylforth) in particular, a long standing nemesis of her former daughter-in-law, will be staggered – but as a fellow return from the grave-er, there is bound to be a lot to their bitter rows.
We honestly can’t wait for THOSE sparks to fly!
Ian (Adam Woodyatt), who we know is back with Cindy, ants to stop her returning to Walford at all costs, despite being previously behind the idea.
Why? Well, he is now aware that Cindy’s other family, The Knights, are living on Albert Square by a stroke of coincidence.

Her daughters Anna (Molly Rainford) and Gina (Francesca Henry), who know their mum as Rose, are aware she is alive after years of assuming she had passed away.
Having been abandoned by Cindy, Anna in particular wants to track her down – and they will want some answers when they come face to face.
As will George (Colin Salmon), who has no idea why she walked out on the family, and has absolutely no idea of her connection to Walford nor her witness protection.
Cindy is going to be very busy with so many people to contend with and explain things to.
There are also folks like Phil Mitchell (Steve McFadden) and Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) who are familiar with the villain.
Details have recently been dropped by the BBC of how the week is constructed – and exactly what we can expect.
Next week, Peter (Thomas Law) is pulled home by Bobby (Clay Milner Russell) due to Kathy selling the chippie.
Almost immediately, he is concerned to see how close Bobby is growing to Anna. While they aren’t related, it would create a lot of family awkwardness.
And Peter also needs to make things right with Kathy after stealing all that cash – as well as facing a furious Ben (Max Bowden).
Hearing of the drama, Cindy leaves France at the end of the week, but she remains oblivious to the fact that the Knights are on the Square.
Fast forward to the end of the month, and the following has been teased.
Monday, August 28: After 25 years, Cindy is back in Walford while the Knight family prepare for Anna’s (Molly Rainford) 21st birthday in the pub.
As the celebrations get underway, Kathy (Gillian Taylforth) comes face to face with a ghost from her past.
Tuesday, August 29: George (Colin Salmon) finally learns the truth, Peter prepares to face the music with Kathy, and Ian has a very awkward reunion with friends and foes (we’re still not over Sharon feeding Ian that carbonara, by the way).
Wednesday, August 30: Cindy and Ian’s arrival sends shockwaves through the square, Gina (Francesca Henry) goes into self-destruct mode, while Bobby (Clay Milner Russell) fears for his relationship.
Thursday, August 31: The Knights reel from recent events, Cindy makes a decision, and Alfie (Shane Richie) puts a roof over an old friend’s head.
We are counting down the days!
Cindy’s first scenes will air next Thursday from 7pm on BBC One (Timings changed – don’t forget!), and 6am on iPlayer.
