EX-CORONATION Street star Paula Lane looks totally different to her cobbles character Kylie Platt in a new sunny snap.
The actress, who played Kylie for six years before she was killed off in 2016, made the most of the weather over the weekend by wearing denim hotpants and enjoying a refreshing drink outdoors.
The 36-year-old wore a pale green jumper, specs, and tied her hair up for a casual look – writing on Twitter: "What a glorious day off."
Since Kylie was fatally stabbed by soap villain Clayton Hibbs, mum-of-two Paula has predominantly worked in theatre.
Late last year she starred in Jim Cartwright’s Road at the Oldham Coliseum Theatre, while her latest on-stage role is as schoolteacher Phoebe Throssel in Quality Street.
Speaking to Manchester Evening News about her time in Corrie, she said: "I feel really proud because she wasn't the easiest to love from an audience point of view, and that was my job as the actor and the writers. We fed each other.

"I knew I just couldn't make her this chav. There had to be a story and reasons as to why she behaved the way she did and, once that was established, it was easier to pad her out and have those moments – that tenderness and things.
"I feel really proud they really took her in their heart and she's missed – and that I had equal amount of comedy as I did tragedy. You can't ask for more."
Kylie's exit storyline saw her die in husband David Platt's arms, sending him into a dangerous downward spiral.
The devastated husband and father came close to ending it all in a bid to get revenge on murderer Clayton.

He intended to target the villain as he was transferred to court by smashing into his van with a petrol-laden car.
Fortunately, before the hairdresser had a chance to put his plan into action, his mum Gail discovered what he was planning after he filmed a goodbye video for his children – and took drastic action to stop him.
