Dave and Karon ‘not happy’ with guests’ scoring
Glampsite owners Dave and Karon proudly showed off their Staffordshire business on Wednesday’s episode of the Channel 4 favourite.
“My standards are quite high,” Dave explained and he talked about the countryside huts he and Karon had “put their heart and soul” into.
Rob and Elosia, Pav and Heena, and Kelly and Loraine travelled to the site to experience Dave and Karon’s shepherds’ huts for a night.
The hoteliers assessed their stay on various criteria the next day, and while the couple largely received glowing feedback, some responses from Pav and Heena left them feeling unfairly judged.
Karon admitted reading the comments had felt like “a kick in the teeth” when the two refused to stay again.
The pair didn’t offer a breakfast, but instead Dave and Karon urged their guests to visit a neighbouring café for their morning meal.
While Rob and Eloisa suggested they should give the option of an on-site breakfast, none of the couples marked Dave and Karon down very much for the lack of food.
However, Pav had complained he was too tall to fit properly in the bed, and therefore didn’t get very much sleep.

In the scoring of “How was your sleep?” Pav and Heena selected a six out of 10.
“I’m not happy with six,” Karon commented as she and Dave read through each guest’s feedback.
As the two continued reading, they weren’t pleased to see comments from Pav about his poor quality sleep due to the bed size and the noisy weather.
Karon added: “I’m sorry, short of doing a rain dance we can’t control the water!”
“Small bed?” Dave read from the feedback, adding: “That’s a proper double bed.”
Pav and Heena had also been the only ones to say they would not stay at the site again.
“It’s a little bit of a kick in the teeth,” Karon remarked. Explaining the other guests had no complaints, she continued: “You think, ‘really?'”
Four in a Bed continues on Thursday at 5pm on Channel 4.
