Mark Dolan reacts to Ant and Dec’s GB News joke on IAC
I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here! kicked off last night with former UKIP leader Nigel Farage entering the Australian outback despite major controversy.
As Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly introduced the show, they couldn’t help but add in some of their wit and made a joke aimed towards broadcaster GB News.
Dec said: “There’s the man that’s got everyone talking, Nigel Farage,” to which Ant continued: “Nigel Farage, now Nigel’s not just known for a controversial political career, he’s also got his own show on GB News.”
Dec went on: “Now of course he won’t be presenting that show over the next three weeks. So, we’d like to take this opportunity to apologise to all GB News viewers.”
Taking a swipe at their audience figures, Ant added: “Sorry Keith, sorry Linda.”

Since then, GB News has hit back at their joke with presenter Mark Donlan claiming “They can’t stop talking about us!” during his show last night.
Mark noted: “Let me just say one thing, I watched the opening little skit from Ant and Dec. Now I am a big fan of Ant and Dec.
“I used to work with them, two nicer men in TV you won’t find but they started the show with jokes about GB News.
“Yes folks they can’t stop talking about us and what they said is it’s very unfortunate for GB News’ viewers to lose Nigel Farage.

“So they said they were going to apologise to GB News viewers for taking Nigel off you, so they wanted to say sorry to Keith and Linda.
“That was their gag ‘Sorry Keith, sorry Linda,’ so their joke is that we have two viewers but we know we have got plenty more than that.
“But it is great that Ant and Dec are now talking about GB News on the national airways.”
According to bookmakers BetVictor, This Morning star Josie Gibson has odds of 10/3 to be crowned Queen of the Jungle.
Fred Siriex is following closely behind at 6/1 alongside Nigel who has 9/1 odds of being crowned.
