Shaun Ryder on making money DJing for drug cartels
On Thursday’s instalment of I’m A Celebrity South Africa, Georgia Toffolo banished Shaun Ryder from the main camp to viewers’ surprise.
The musician did not seem to mind and he was greeted by Myleene Klass and Andy Whyment in Savanna Scrub.
The pair struggled with Shaun’s snoring during the night but they appeared to all be getting along swimmingly the following day.
The Happy Mondays singer even realised he went to the same school as Coronation Street star Andy.
However, a bulletin Shaun read aloud to the camp would soon change the status quo of the camp.
Shaun read: “Andy and Myleene, soon you will have the opportunity to win a place in the main camp, but first, each of you will have to decide whose place you take.”
If they were successful with the task they would swap places with their chosen celebrities.
Shaun, who has been vocal about his feud with campmate Gillian McKeith, said: “I’m not pushing your vote but I wouldn’t mind spending my days with Phil Tuffnell.
“I would love Fatima [Whitbread] to be here but please don’t vote for Gillian.”

Myleene laughed and promised not to vote for Gillian, whereas Andy voted for Fatima.
Shaun’s feud began with Gillian when they starred in the original series of I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!
Turning their attention to the trial, Myleene and Andy were placed inside giant vuvuzelas, before being covered up to their necks in creepy crawlies.
Unfortunately, Andy was sent back to Savanna Scrub after failing the trial but Myleene joined the main camp.
Elsewhere in tonight’s instalment of the show, Gillian McKeith admitted she’d smuggled some contraband into camp.
When a Bush Bulletin arrived in camp Georgia ‘Toff’ Toffolo read there were consequences to bringing in the banned items.
Toff read: “Celebrities, there is contraband in camp. You will not get your dinner until you’ve surrendered all contraband. There’s an amnesty bowl in the Telegraph.”
I’m A Celebrity South Africa continues tomorrow at 9pm on ITV and ITVX.
