Good Morning Britain fans were not happy when Charlotte Hawkins spoke about Prince Harry and his wife Meghan Markle following their trip to Dusseldorf.
The parents of two visited the German city to mark a year until the 2023 Invictus Games as part of their whirlwind visit to Europe.
During the coverage, Charlotte revealed the former working royals took part in a royal-style walkabout and also posed for selfies with people who had waited to catch a glimpse of them.
Charlotte said: "Prince Harry and Meghan were in Germany to mark the one-year countdown to the 2023 Invictus Games.
"The couple met officials, enjoyed a river cruise and Harry even wowed with a spot of GCSE German."
However, viewers were not too keen on the coverage, with one branding Meghan "cheesy".
Vic Thompson added: "It looked like an official royal visit, an official royal walkabout in front of hundreds of slightly adoring fans.
"But this was handshakes and selfies, Harry and Meghan's way, with the odd throwback to their previous life as working royals, the couple were in Dusseldorf to start the one-year countdown to the Invictus Games.
"The crowds had been counting down to the Duke and Duchess's arrival at the city's town hall.
Taking to Twitter, one said: "Just what you need first thing to put you off your breakfast. Cheesy Meghan #GMB."
"#GMB stop calling them the Duke and Duchess, they're nobody now," fumed a second.
