As the 48-year-old shared his thoughts on the highly anticipated match, he shared the embarrassing moment he walked into a lamppost moments before Harry Kane scored his record-breaking goal.

"I walked hear first into a lamppost, literally smashed into a lamppost, phone went flying as a bus went past with all these kids going 'Wheyy!'."

The broadcaster confessed he was "mortified" by the embarrassing moment as Kate chuckled beside him.

"I was absolutely mortified. The only thing was, as I picked up my phone Harry Kane scored his goal so I'm going 'Wheyy!'.
