GMB’s Charlotte Hawkins grills ITV guests over showers amid water shortage

Good Morning Britain’s Charlotte Hawkins grilled ITV guests over whether or not they had a shower before they appeared on the hit morning show.

On Monday’s visit to the ITV studios, the blonde bombshell and her co-host Richard Madeley welcomed viewers back to discuss the latest news headlines this morning.

And one of the biggest topics on everyone’s lips was the ongoing national water shortage as the UK prepares for another heatwave this week.

This morning, the dynamic duo welcomed British journalist Kevin Maguire and MP Ed Vaizey onto the show to discuss their thoughts on the ongoing Conservatives leadership run.

But Charlotte left her loyal legion of fans in stitches as she introduced the pair by asking them whether or not they had showered before they came on the show.

She seriously asked the political duo: “Did you shower before you came on the show today?”

Luckily the pair managed to laugh off the rude question as Kevin turned to the politician and jokingly wafted the air around him after he confessed he hadn’t taken a morning shower before his appearance.

The politician admitted: “I haven’t showered but I will shower after the show, the trick is to do it in 10-second bursts and not shower while the soap is on.”
