Good Morning Britain star Richard Madeley sported a plaster on his finger during the latest edition of the ITV breakfast show.
The 67-year-old presenter was back on television screens on Tuesday (October 31) morning with Kate Garraway and they woke up the nation with the latest headlines from across the globe.
However, it looks like former This Morning host Richard suffered a minor injury before going live on air and was forced to cover it up with a band aid.

One concerned GMB viewers took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to ask: What's Richard done to his finger?" however Richard failed to address what happened during his stint on the live programme.
It comes after Richard claimed that late Friends actor Matthew Perry could have been "on a slide back" towards his previous addiction struggles ahead of his untimely death over the weekend. Matthew, best known for playing Chandler Bing on the American sitcom, was discovered at his home in Los Angeles.

Expressing his shock at the news, Richard said: "We know it wasn’t foul play and they’ve now found all sorts of illegal drugs in the house, prescription drugs, which he shouldn’t have had so unfortunately it looks like he was on a bit of a slide back."

Richard later reflected on Matthew's life in the spotlight and explained: "He was one of those – not uncommon – extremely successful, famous people who just don’t enjoy it. I never interviewed him but there was a quote from him that was banded about yesterday that said he enjoyed his fame and his success and his money for about eight months and that’s in a lifetime. For the rest of the time he was fighting it." During his time on Friends, Matthew struggled with addiction and anxiety which he described in his memoir Friends, Lovers, and the Big Terrible Thing which was published in 2022.
