With a love for cooking and motorcycles, Hairy Bikers icon Dave Myers struggled without riding around and cooking with his pal Si King, to such an extent that he was left in 'tears' when he finally sat back upon his beloved bike.
After receiving his diagnosis in May 2022, the national treasure received chemotherapy, which looks to have helped him recover.
Speaking to The Yorkshire Post, he said: “It’s been hard, but I’m not the only one, And I’m getting through it, and I’m back at work.”

The 65-year-old continued: “I’ve had to learn to walk again and ride my bike again. And to get on my bike again with Kingy in the sunshine brought tears to both our eyes.”
The loveable duo are returning to TV later this year in a series entitled 'The Hairy Bikers Go West', which will see them experience the culinary attractions of the west coast, as they ride their bikes on a scenic journey from Scotland to Devon.
It's amazing news for his family and fans, who've all been praying that he'd return to doing what he does best.
He originally announced his diagnosis on his and Si's podcast, The Hairy Bikers: Agony Uncles.
Speaking candidly, he said: "I've got to come clean now, I haven't been too well recently and, basically, I've got to have some chemo, you know all this anyway, so this year is going to be a bit quiet for me.
"I'm not going to be filming. Some of the festivals I'm not going to be able to go to, some may be OK, but this year's a bit of a write-off for us."
He continued: "I have had to speak up about this because I don't want to hide under a rock, but I would love it if people respect my privacy and just let me get on with it and give Si and our team all the support they need, that would be great.
"But look, the prognosis is OK, I'm going to be fine. I may be a baldy biker for a while, so it's just a warning; I don't want to make a fuss about it; I look alright bald, actually."
Despite concerns, by the grace of God and with help from medical experts, it looks like he's going to be hitting our screens for many a year to come.
