Royal biographer Angela Levin joined TalkTV host Mike Graham on Friday to share her royal roundup for 2022. The writer reflected on King Charles’ decision to omit Prince Harry and Meghan Markle from his Christmas Day speech as she slammed their “ridiculous” Netlix docuseries.
Mike began: “I haven’t had a chance to speak to you since Christmas and it was very clear from King Charles’ message that the Sussexes are well and truly on the out and there’s no coming back.”
Angela replied: “Yes I think that’s quite right to. You can’t have someone saying you’re a liar and that your other son is a bully.
“It sounds like a little boy of three who saying my brother is a bully it’s just a nonsense.”
The royal biographer detailed her annoyance with the Harry and Meghan’s docuseries.

“What is interesting is they can’t see to see themselves as others see them,” she continued.
“You get to a mature age in your late teens where you start to see the impression you give not just what you like.
“And the fact that they couldn’t see they were absolutely killing any respect people could have for them with this six hours of boredom which I watched all the way through.
“Surely [the Duke and Duchess of Sussex] realise this is ridiculous.”
“Surely [they] realise that if you say somebody on an aeroplane comes and sits next to you and says, ‘Thank you so much for all you’ve done for this country’… it’s a loads of nonsense,” she stated.
“They’re not going to come up to Meghan, who doesn’t let anyone without permission talk to her,” Angela claimed.
“And the big lies where you just throw a heap of rubbish at somebody without saying who it is, what it is, how it is.
“You can’t then expect to be treated as one of the sons.”

Angela argued Harry and Meghan “haven’t done anything in 2022 to help the Royal Family”.
She claimed the royal couple are “trying very hard to smash” the Royal Family up.
In King Charles’ address to the nation, “working royals” appeared on screen.
These included the Queen Consort, the Prince and Princess of Wales, the Earl of Wessex and the Princess Royal.
The Duke and Duchess of Sussex and the Duke of York were not included.
In his Christmas speech he mentioned William and Kate’s trip to Wales where they had been “shining a light” on examples of community spirit.
Charles used his speech to reflect on the cost-of-living crisis as he spoke of “great anxiety and hardship” for this struggling to “pay their bills and keep their families fed and warm”.
The Independent Republic of Mike Graham airs on TalkTV on weekdays at 10am.
