Strictly’s Gorka disappointed he didn’t win with Helen Skelton
Helen Skelton announced she was stepping down from her role on BBC Radio 5 Live after a year of hosting the Sunday morning slot.
During her show on Sunday morning, she revealed to her listeners that it would be her last show and gave an emotional goodbye live on-air.
Her voice breaking, she said: “I am not alright about it but needs must. The juggle is real.”
She added that she wanted to be around her children more and spend more time with them as she explained “there is an eight-year-old with a sideline who needs me.
“[I have] loved every minute of the past year … thank you to all the team and thank you to all of you. It’s hard to know what to say without getting emotional!
