Dominic Power is currently delighting fans on Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks – but eagle-eyed fans may recognise him from another huge TV role.
Long before he played David Chen-Williams, Dominic was known for his role as an Emmerdale 'bad boy' and also had two forgotten stints in another popular ITV programme.
That's not all, as the actor has also revealed that he has a 'secret talent' away from the soaps too.

Here, Daily Star takes a closer look inside Dominic Power's life away from Hollyoaks.
Emmerdale 'bad boy'
Long before Dominic played Dave Chen-Williams in Hollyoaks, the actor appeared in another huge soap role.
Between 2011 to 2013, he played Debbie Dingle's villainous ex-lover Cameron Murray in ITV soap Emmerdale.
Cameron went on a murderous rampage during his time in the village, killing Carl King, Alex Moss and Gennie Sharma.
However, his reign of terror came to an end after the character was electrocuted during a flood in the cellar of The Woolpack Pub.
Speaking about his exit to ITV, Dominic revealed that despite being a soap villain, he and his co-stars were close.
"What will I miss the most about Emmerdale? The people," said Dominic.
"The amount of time you spend – under sometimes quite stressful situations – with people, you do form a real bond.
"You form a real closeness and then when you realise that's coming to an end… absolutely I'm going to miss everyone."
He added: "The favourite moments are when you're on set with your buddies and you're just having a laugh. They're your favourite moments at work, like anyone's day at work. It's probably the stuff the audience aren't going to see."
Despite being one of the soap's most notorious villains, fans could not get enough of the character and Dominic was nominated for a number of awards including Best Actor at The Inside Soap Awards and Villain Of The Year at the British Soap Awards.
During the same year as his Emmerdale departure, Dominic won Best Bad Boy at the Inside Soap Awards 2013.
Forgotten TV role
Long before he became a soap icon, Dominic rose to to fame in another popular TV series – The Bill.
He landed his first major TV role in The Bill as Carl White in 1998, before taking on the recurring role of PC Leon Taylor between 2008 to 2010.
From there he also appeared in Suspects and Unforgotten.
That's not all though, as he also played Peter for one episode of BBC soap EastEnders in 2000, as well as Doctors and Casualty.
However soap fans were delighted when Channel 4 soap Hollyoaks announced that Dominic would be joining the programme as Dave Chen-Williams in 2021.
When his role was announced, the actor shared his excitement in a statement, saying: "It's an honour to be part of such an iconic British soap. Can't wait for the Hollyoaks fans to meet Dave."
Vow to expose web trolls
Away from the soaps, Dominic is a talented filmmaker and has used his skills to produce a new drama called Medicine.
The title refers to claims would-be-reality TV show contestants are asked if they take any medication, with Dominic speaking to The Mirror about noticing a rise in web trolls since reality TV shows began to air.
"Saturday night TV talent shows would really upset me because I’ve worked with guys with learning difficulties that I recognised in some of the contestants."
He continued to claim that some reality TV hopefuls were "humiliated" on the shows, saying: "It is medieval. I am one of those people that if someone falls over I don’t laugh I worry and panic they’ve hurt themselves."
However, The Mirror reported that ITV, which broadcast programmes like The X Factor, has strongly denied claims it exploited anyone in the programme.
Personal life
Although Dominic is one of the most familiar faces on our TV screens, not much is known about his personal life.
However it is known that Dominic is married to wife Jackie Power, with who he has two children called Gabrielle and Declan.
However, he has spoken about living in Liverpool while filming Hollyoaks, telling The Mirror: "I love the people, I love the environment, and being in Liverpool. Everything is just beautiful."
He continued to gush about his new Hollyoaks cast members too, saying: "Everyone says when you are in a soap it becomes like a family and it does."
Hollyoaks airs weekdays on Channel 4 at 6.30pm followed by first-look episodes on E4 at 7pm
