Sam Blakeman (Jude Riordan) discovers one of the many challenges that come with attending high school for the first time as he’s targeted by a classmate and honestly, we’re not happy.
Settling into his life at Weatherfield High, Sam does a class presentation about chess next week – something he absolutely loves.
When one boy, Owen, tells Sam how much he enjoyed it, Sam thinks he’s made a new pal and offers to teach him later.
Back home, oblivious to Owen’s sarcasm, Sam sets up at the café and waits patiently for his new friend’s arrival.
But who will break the news to Sam that this was nothing more than a nasty trick?
The next day, at Hope’s (Isabella Flanagan) suggestion, Sam makes out that he loves gaming invites Jack (Kyran Bowes) and Liam (Charlie Wrenshall) round after school.
As they sit down to play a football game, Sam remarks that it’s pretty pointless as it actually requires no skill or strategy.
It appears adjusting to high school and interacting with children a lot older than him will be a challenge for Sam, can he get through the initial few weeks without ending up in any trouble?
Let’s hope so.
