HORROR fans have told they should only watch The Pope’s Exorcist in daylight after being left terrified by the movie.
Russell Crowe's new film, which was released earlier this year, follows Gabriele Amorth, the Vatican's leading exorcist, as he investigates the possession of a child.
He ends up uncovering a conspiracy the Vatican has tried to keep secret for centuries.
Those who have seen the film already have admitted they were left terrified.
One said: "Watched The Pope's Exorcist and mate let me tell you, if you focus on it, it will f*** your head and give u the horror feels and not the jump scare kind of feel which is worse. I suggest watching it during the daylight."
Someone else said: "I don’t usually get extremely scared in the moment but I was ready to leave in the middle of it."

"The Pope’s Exorcist was thrillingly terrifying to me," said another.
The film posters said it was “inspired by the actual files of Father Gabriele Amorth, Chief Exorcist of the Vatican” – which prompted fury from some.
In a statement, the International Association of Exorcists (IAE) called the title of the film “pretentious”.
It also claimed that its plot poses “unacceptable doubt” over who “the real enemy is, the devil or ecclesiastical power”.
