ONE Reddit user who requested some answers from former Take Me Out contestants brought up some very interesting responses.
The OP, who goes by 'theKerrie', requested "A girl or guy who's been on Take Me Out" to answer her questions.
Take Me Out aired on ITV2 from 2010 until 2019 and was hosted by Paddy McGuinness.
The Reddit user was keen to find out more about what went down behind the scenes, and asked users of the forum:
"Do you get told by producers to buzz out for certain people? Is any aspect of it staged?
"What really goes down on the Isle of Fernandos?

He explained: "Nope, but they need to have something interesting to say when Paddy asks why they turned off, can't just do it randomly for the sake of it.
"They may be requested to act a certain way but none of the results are foregone conclusions."
Replying to the question about Fernando's, Ben – who works as a hypnotist – teased that what goes down is: "What you see plus a lot more."
Ben added that Mark Wright's former spin-off show The Gossip was "heavily slanted towards what makes for good television, but they're filming 6 or 8 of us solidly for 24 hours to make 1 hour of TV, very different to the studio where it's about 25 mins down to 10."
Asked whether the host, Paddy, was as nice as he seems on-screen, he said: "Yeah he's great, the girls get to know him pretty well in the run up to the show, the guys spend an hour with him in dress rehearsal before the record and he's great.
"Not all presenters are, he's up there with the nicer ones."

As for "b*tchyness between the girls", he revealed that: "Sure, there's about 50 of them and they've all got big and contrasting personalities and spend a vast amount of time together but there's no massive drama, not this year anyway, they're all like sisters it's really nice."
And finally, answering the last question, Ben said: "Most dates don't go anywhere, there is an aftermath of group meet ups and continued solidarity after the show gets recorded there, but, that's a story for another day."
