Presenters Ant McPartlin and Dec Donnelly have caused quite a stir amongst I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here! viewers after their Shaun Ryder joke failed to impress.
The Geordie duo, who returned to screens this week for I'm A Celebs: All Stars! in South Africa, have kept fans hooked as famous faces from previous series returned for the spin-off show.
But on Monday night's programme (April 24), Ant and Dec appeared to make a savage did at Happy Mondays frontman Shaun by making reference to his previous addiction battles.

Ant said: "Welcome back to I'm A Celebrity…South Africa. So we've met our first three contestants – Carol, Amir, and Jordan.
"And before they could head into camp, they faced a challenge that meant they would be higher than Shaun Ryder in the nineties."
Dec then added: "Wow… wow. That is high."
But the presenter's remarks appeared to shock a number of viewers who headed over to Twitter to share their thoughts on their jibe.
One viewer wrote: "OMG Ant and Dec did not just make that joke about Shaun."
Meanwhile another said: "Ant and Dec went too far with that joke…. Christ."
In 2019, Shaun, 60, explained the reason behind his change in appearance and what caused his hair loss.
Shaun spoke openly to ITV's Good Morning Britain and Radio X about being diagnosed with unexplained alopecia following surgery on his hip.
Shaun went on to explain that he has "no eyelashes, no fingernails, no head, no hair whatsoever", which has left doctors confused.
The Gogglebox star told Radio X: "I've got no eyelashes, no eyebrows, no pubic hair, no leg hair, no armpit hair, everything gone.
"At first they thought it's going to be the testosterone or it's going to be the thyroid. Well it isn't, because in the thyroid it comes out in clumps, right.
"Now mine's an alopecia thing and it's just gone." he explained.
While appearing on I'm A Celebrity South Africa, Shaun was forced to explain the reason why he wears sunglasses during he night.
Talking to boxer Amir Khan, he said: "I'm not a tw** wearing sunglasses when it's dark. I've got no eyelashes, so all the sh** gets in my eyes."
