I'm A Celebrity.. Get Me Out of Here! star Nella Rose has suffered a major blow before the first elimination of the series.
The YouTube star, 26, is currently the bookies favourite to get the boot from camp tonight (December 3) as viewers are tasked with voting to keep their favourite celebrities in the Australian jungle. It’s fair to say the Nella has attracted the most critique online since the show started last month.
Within the first week of the show, tensions in the camp started rising after Nella locked horns with TV chef Fred Sirieix in her now famous ‘dad-gate’ row. Just hours later, the raven-haired beauty hit out at former Brexit leader Nigel Farage in a tense race row. Since then, the reality show has been flooded with a slew of Ofcom complaints. So far, 861 viewers have complained about the row with Fred with a further 856 sharing their concerns over her discussion with Nigel.

Bookmakers Coral have Nella at 100/1 to be the first famous face to be axed from the ITV series this year, followed by Hollyoaks actor Nick Pickard who is also at 100/1. It comes after I'm A Celebrity bosses ere forced to issue an apology on social media after accidentally like a post using “unacceptable language” towards a campmate.
On Friday night (December 1), a moderator thrust the flagship channel into the centre of a social media row over contestant Nella. Bosses wasted no time in issuing an apology online when fans of the show spotted the account had “liked” a hate comment about the YouTuber.

ITV rushed to delete the thread and pleaded with viewers to "be kind" in a lengthy statement online. Taking to Instagram, they wrote: "Yesterday we accidentally liked a comment on Instagram while scrolling down through viewer comments. The post in question contained unacceptable language about one of our campmates and we apologise for the mistake made and any offence caused. We seek to champion all out campmates and would always urge our audience to be kind when commenting on social media."
The backlash began when several viewers noticed that the official I’m A Celebrity account – which has 1.6million followers on Instagram and 1.3million followers on X, formerly known as Twitter – had "liked" a mean comment about the social media star. It is understood the cruel comment was left underneath a post celebrating Sam Thompson’s candid confession about his ADHD.

Daily Star has chosen to keep the name of the account private, but the insult read: "You know why, because Josie is a genuine person, Nelly jelly belly is just after publicity whatever." The thread has since been deleted but some online users claim there were other comments too.
However Daily Star has not been able to verify any further posts. A second post rumoured to have been liked by the official account read: “I’m not a Nella fan but I have to agree with you, if that had been Nella there would be a riot on here… but not with Josie." Taking to the comments, some users welcomed the show’s immediate apology. One user penned: “The hate towards Nella has been way [too] much. I disagree with some of her actions in the jungle but people are acting like she’s the worst human being alive and that’s unfair.”
Another echoed: “Oh easy mistake, we’ve all done this accidentally [heart emoji]” as a third chimed with: “Never knew this happened, but it is easily done when scrolling.” Whereas other said the apology didn’t got far enough. One user argued: “Surely Ofcom should be stepping in?” as another agreed: “Need to do better really guys.”
