It's no secret that the lack of food in the I'm A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here! jungle is one of the most difficult parts of taking part in the ITV show, but TV viewers are convinced this year's campmates have been treated to some extra treats.
I'm A Celeb fans have shared a wild theory that certain contestants are being given 'snacks' while in the jungle, are claiming to have spotted a clue during an episode of the ITV show.
Sharing a photo of one of the campmates holding what appeared to be a food item in a wrapper on Reddit, an eagle-eyed viewer bluntly asked: "What's this?"
A second fan weighed in, adding: "It looks like one of those health food protein things."
However, other I'm A Celeb fans were quick to explain what had happened and insisted the campmates are simply given fruit with their dinner, and the picture shared could actually be of a banana.
The viewer said: "They get fruit each night that the camp mates normally have for dessert but in a past season I remember someone saving theirs for the next morning (and rightly making a fuss when Boy George ate it)."
A second agreed, saying: "They get fruit with the dinner parcel," while a third insisted: "It's a small banana. The skin is thinner and they're fatter."
It's not the only time viewers have questioned if campmates have been sneakily given extra food. During Wednesday's (6 December) episode, some fans were confused to see Nick Pickard appearing to be eating a 'sandwich' from a brown paper bag.
Taking to X, formerly Twitter, one person asked: "Is that Nick eating a sandwich?" while another added: "Was that a sandwich in #nick's hand?"
However, a TV insider set the record straight, telling The Sun: "This is the bags the rice comes in. You saw Nigel using one as a bin bag yesterday cleaning up camp."
Hollyoaks actor Nick became the fourth celebrity to leave the I'm A Celebrity camp in Wednesday's episode, following another public vote. Fred Sirieix, Nella Rose and Frankie Dettori have all also been voted off the show so far.
Sam Thompson, Josie Gibson, Nigel Farage, Danielle Harold, Tony Bellew and Marvin Humes all currently remain in the jungle, with more stars set to leave before the final on Sunday, 10 December.
