ITV bosses are said to be thrown into chaos after ratings for I'm A Celebrity dropped for a second time this series.
The hit reality show where celebrities enter the jungle usually is one of the broadcaster's biggest programmes. In 2022, the opening episode attracted an eye-watering 9 million viewers, which continued as controversial politician Matt Hancock joined the line-up.
But this year, viewing figures have taken a huge tumble after bosses booked former UKIP leader Nigel Farage for the current series. Alongside Britney Spears ' sister Jamie Lynn, fans were outraged that divisive characters were being included on the show.

As a result, a boycott against the show has been taking place, with ratings plummeting on launch night, dropping by 2.2 million compared to 2022 figures. And now it seems the number of people tuning in has continued to fall.
Saturday's episode of the show (November 25) saw over 1.3 million viewers tune out from the show compared to last Monday's instalment. In total, 5.5 million people watched the show, having been bumped out of its usual time slot.
Some explanations for why the numbers were down could include people being out and about when the show was on, as it moves to its new time slot in the run up to Christmas. Others have pointed to the boycott against Farage as a factor in the drop in ratings.
Viewers watching the show have been making fun of the GB News host, after he was spotted showering completely nude whilst on the show. Becoming the joke of several sociasl media memes, many people have called for the controversial politician to release a nude illusion calendar.
As the campmates enter their second full week in the jungle, tensions are continuing to rise between the contestants. Things boiled over when Youtuber Nella Rose clashed with First Dates maitre d' Fred Sirieix, after he joked that he was old enough to be her dad.
Grace Dent has also caused a stir after she dramatically left the show on Monday (November 27). The reasoning for her departure has been down to 'medical reasons' according to bosses, despite her growing vocal disdain for being in camp.
I'm A Celebrity airs every day on ITV1 and ITVX.
