Dec Donnelly has been busy with life Down Under while filming for I'm A Celebrity but he's finally been able to take a break from work as he was spotted doing some retail therapy with his wife and son.
The 48 year old presenter, who has been gracing TV screens every night for episodes of I’m A Celebrity…Get Me Out Of Here!, looked deep in conversation as he enjoyed the family outing.
On Friday, Dec looked relaxed for his outing with his wife Ali Astall and his son Jack, one, as the TV icon stepped out into the Australian sunshine.
Dec opted for a casual look with a navy T-shirt, green shorts and sliders, while Ali kept cool in a bikini top and shorts as she pushed their toddler Jack along in his buggy.
Dec's break from work comes after he shared an insight into his hectic filming schedule which includes 2am alarms and being ready to go on air at 7am.
Answering a question on Instagram, Dec said: "What is our routine? So we go and film the (bush tucker) trial. Then we have been leaving here[jungle site] and getting home at 1pm. We have a couple of hours to chill and then have dinner about 4.30pm and then bed is like six or 6.30pm."
Ant added: "And then our alarms go off at two or 2.30am every day. And you can never fall asleep at half six. It is always after seven."
Dec agreed and said: "I don't fall asleep no, I go to bed and put on a podcast, a Newcastle United podcast, Pod On The Tyne or the True Faith podcast, I listen to that."
Ant said: "I read in bed, by the way. I'm reading a good book at the moment, All The Light We Cannot See. It is a Netflix show now too."
Their chaotic schedule for the three weeks that I'm A Celeb is on means the presenting pair practically have to work through the night in order to make preparations to go on screen.
It means there's not lots of spare time so Dec made sure he enjoyed some quality family time in Oz before the show aired.
He was even spotted making the most of the glorious Australian beaches with his wife, Ali and their two children back in November.
Dec's most recent family outing on Friday comes after he caught his presenting partner Ant out in a hilarious TV gag.
During an episode of I'm A Celeb, Ant McPartlin found himself in an awkward situation when he mixed up the name of Hollyoaks star Nick Pickard during a Bushtucker trial.
Ant was so caught up in the gripping trial, that he was calling Nick, Tony, the name of his soap character, and Declan Donnelly was on hand to pick him up on it.
After the segment, Dec teased his mate, saying: "Let's talk about your naughty behaviour in the trial too. Calling Nick, Tony from Hollyoaks," and they both had a good giggle over the mistake.
