AN ITV star has confirmed his hit game show is returning for another series – with an epic twist.
Adil Ray has announced Lingo is coming back to the daytime TV schedules "very soon".
The presenter, 49, took to his Instagram account to share the exciting news with his followers.
He said: "Exciting news. @itv have commissioned a fourth series of @lingotv_uk.
"This time we’re going to play winner stays on! To see if the contestants really are that good and to see if they can go home with some serious money!
"And if you can’t wait for that don’t worry brand new episodes of series 3 will be on the telly very soon!"

The news has left fans delighted, with one saying: "The best daytime quiz show by far."
A second wrote: "Well done mate, that's fab news."
"I watch lingo all time at the gym while on the stairmaster," said a third.

It comes as ITV previously revealed Celebrity Lingo wouldn't be returning for another series.
Presented by RuPaul, the show saw famous faces go head-to-head in the fast paced word play game.
They had to fill in the blanks and find the missing words in order to win cash.
