Comedian Jack Whitehall was left starstruck and “flustered” by the presence of top British female wrestler Saraya this morning (24 August), on Good Morning Britain.
The 31-year-old Norwich-born athlete appeared on ITV’s morning show to promote her return to the UK after seven years, as she is set to compete on Sunday (27 August) in the AEW (All Elite Wrestling)’s “All In” championship at the Wembley stadium in London.
Jack accompanied Saraya on GMB to also promote the event, which is expected to welcome over 80 thousand wrestling fans.

According to GMB host, Adil Ray, this will be the first professional wrestling event in the UK in 30 years.
Adil went on to reveal that Saraya will not only be competing at the event, but that Jack will also be present at the tournament as a superfan viewer.
In fact, the comedian is such a self-described wrestling “nerd”, that he appeared to be quite starstruck by Saraya’s presence.
The morning show’s hosts, Kate Garraway and Adil asked if this was the first time Jack and Saraya had met, to which they both replied that it was.
Adil soon noticed that Jack was in visible awe, sitting next to the Elite wrestler, and abruptly remarked: “You can barely look Saraya in the eye.”
Saraya appeared to be amused at the situation as she pile on: “It’s like he’s all flustered.”
Jack went on to open up about his admiration for the sport and joked that he was “essentially Saraya’s stalker”.
“Saraya is real royalty,” he added.
The two-time WWE Divas Champion carried on the conversation by admitting she had a preference for British fans, as they tended to get more “rowdy”.
Saraya liked that her Brits counterpart tended to create an atmosphere where “everyone has a really good time”.
The wrestler also explained that she had warned her American wrestling colleagues about the excitement the British audience brought.
She further clarified that although American wrestling fans were also cheerful, they just did not “do it to the extent of the Brits”, to which Kate and Adil joked it was due to the crowd being “more drunk”.
Unfortunately for Jack, this segment was not the end for his embarrassment as Kate and Adil went on to show an old clip dating back from 2016 of the comedian getting slammed by Terry "Mean Machine" Frazier in an episode of Would I Lie To You?.
“That was the end of my wrestling career,” Jack laughed.
