Jane McDonald fights back tears as she pays emotional tribute to late father on travel show | The Sun

A RECENTLY aired episode of Jane McDonald: Cruising Scotland saw the star give a touching tribute to her late father.

The Channel 5 presenter – who was travelling on a boat around the Inner Hebrides in the episode – got in touch with her Scottish roots during the series.

Jane, 59, also took the time exploring the Scottish islands to reflect on her childhood days with her late father, who passed away in the 90s.

Jane, who also works as a cruise ship singer, travelled up to Tobermory during the show, to take part in Cèilidh, which is a traditional form of Scottish dancing.

As she was mid-activity, the star recalled how her father taught her to dance.

Jane told the camera: "I just realised how fit I was as a child dancing with my father.
