JEREMY Clarkson shut down a troll after they swiped at his Diddly Squat farm shop as fans flooded him with support.

The Grand Tour host and Sun columnist, 63, has taken up farming in recent years.

Jeremy runs the Diddly Squat farm in Oxfordshire which has its very own Prime Video series.

But as Jezza posted a holiday snap from his summer break on Instagram, which looked out at the ocean and yachts anchored nearby, one unhappy customer trolled him over his farm's shop.

The user said: “Are all 4 yours Jeremy Clarkson I’ve seen the prices for chilli chutney in the farm shop”

Having none of it, Jeremy snapped back at the troll and shut him down.

He replied: “That’s what it costs to make it. If you want to ruin farmers, buy it for less in the supermarket.”

Fans were in agreement as they commented under the exchange in support of the presenter.

One said: "The perfect response! Thank you. Farmers unite!"

A second wrote: “Living in a rural setting ourselves we all love you and thank you for all you have done for farming. We need to buy local foods, that may be more expensive but supports local trade and tastes sooo good."

Filming for the third series of Clarkson's Farm is currently underway, however, not release date has been announced yet.

The Diddly Squat Farm shop was recently closed when a thief snuck inside.

The shoplifter stole a £41 can of Clarkson's Gin in a Tin while his accomplice distracted a staff member.
