Joe Swash has reflected on his stint in EastEnders, branding his exit the ‘worst’ ever.
The actor, who played Mickey Miller, discussed his time in Walford while competing in I’m A Celebrity… South Africa, revealing if he would ever reprise his role on the BBC One soap.
‘I wouldn’t mind it,’ he said.
‘You know exactly what you’re doing, when you’re doing it, how you’re doing it. But they’ve never asked me mate, not once.’
The TV personality went on to reflect on his exit scenes, revealing that he never got a ‘Doof Doof’ during his five-year stint in the Square, and was particularly upset that he didn’t get the closing shot during his final episode.
‘I had the worst outro ever!,’ he told his campmates.
‘I didn’t even leave at the end of the episode. So usually you leave at the end of the episode and you get the ‘doof doof’. Mine, I went to Norwich to be a bell boy at a hotel.
‘Mid scene I just walked into the Vic and went: “Right, see you later”.
They turned back to Phil, turned back to me and I’d gone. I was like: “What, that’s it?” I was there five years and not one doof doof!’

Joe made his I’m A Celeb… South Africa debut earlier this week alongside former EastEnders actor Dean Gaffney, who played Robbie Jackson on the BBC soap.
Tuesday’s episode saw the pair take on a trial, having to drink the deadliest combinations, in a bid to win a treat for each of their campmates.
