Jon Kay urged to adjust his outfit as he accidentally 'flashes flesh' on BBC Breakfast | The Sun

JON Kay was forced to adjust his outfit as he accidentally "flashed" some flesh on BBC Breakfast this morning.

Jon, 53, was joined by Sally Nugent, 52, on the iconic red sofa when he experienced the wardrobe mishap.

During a segment, the hosts interviewed BBC Radio 1 DJ Jordan North and etiquette expert William Hanson about their new podcast, Help I Sexted My Boss.

As they were walking onto the set, Jordan spilled the beans that William had actually called out John's look.

He told the hosts: "William noticed a little faux pas with one of you guys this morning. Like as soon as we walked in and we saw you on the telly, he said, 'John's socks are a bit loose'."

William then pointed directly at John's foot, criticising it on air and mentioning that he was showing a bit of leg between his socks and trousers.

The expert said: "It's a bit loose, but I only know this because when I last did Breakfast, Charlie [Stayt] and I had a whole off-air conversation about the right sock length."

Slightly red-faced, John reached down to adjust his socks after the comment was made.

Making light of the situation, Jordan said: "You are showing a bit of leg for the nans, the nans love that."

Jon then quipped: "The nans love that."

"Well it is a lovely sock, you are showing a bit of leg for the nans," William joked joining in on the banter.

Jon then turned to the etiquette expert and asked: "Should I be pulling my socks further down or not?"

"Maybe you should, or perhaps you could consider wearing sock garters, those things that go around your leg. You don't want there to be too much of a gap," William suggested.

John burst into laughter and exclaimed, "I'm definitely not wearing a garter!"
