Justin warns he won't leave Daisy alone ahead of horror acid attack in Corrie

Things took a step up for stalker Justin (Andrew Still) in Coronation Street tonight, as he sought out Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) after dark.

Justin has been tormenting terrified Daisy for weeks now, having convinced himself that they are in love.

Daisy has repeatedly tried to warn him off, but to no avail, so it was only a matter of time before things got physical.

When Daisy spotted Justin on the street once more in tonight’s episode, she was horrified, as actress Charlotte Jordan revealed.

‘She storms off to get some air and she sees Justin with this bouquet of flowers – which is very triggering to her because that’s how this whole thing began, with a bunch of flowers.

‘She sees red because she feels so isolated – no one’s understanding, no one’s helping – and she just thinks ‘I’ll take this into my own hands and tell this guy to sod off for good.’ And it escalates very quickly because she’s already in a very heightened state.’

Daisy ended up punching Justin, much to George Shuttleworth’s (Tony Maudsley) horror.

Things got even worse for Daisy when she was asked to go to the police station for questioning. They revealed that Justin had reported her for common assault, leaving her reeling.

Eventually, Justin saw sense and dropped his complaint, but that wasn’t the end of it.

Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard) was disgusted when Justin showed up at the pub, demanding to speak to Daisy.

Support for victims of stalking

Saskia Garner, Head of Policy and Campaigns at the Suzy Lamplugh Trust would advise anyone who is triggered by watching these episodes or who relates to it or thinks of someone they know who is experiencing similar behaviours to encourage them to come forward to get support.

‘Our helpline is 0808 802 0300 or you can access support through our website suzylamplugh.org and also just to keep a log of any incidents.

‘Just keep a track if you’re receiving unwanted messages or a person’s turning up at your place of work or you’ve spotted them somewhere or whatever it is just keep a secure log of those incidents so if you want to report that you’re already demonstrating that pattern of behaviour and that can really help to get you the support you need.’

Reluctantly, she agreed and the three of them sat down for a serious chat, where Daisy warned him off once more.

It proved to be fruitless, as unbeknownst to Daisy, Justin had stuck around. It wasn’t until the sun had set that he made his presence known, startling her as she made her way home.

He told her that he was going to give her one last chance, and that he knew she only said what she did because Daniel was there.

Daisy made it very clear that she was serious, and that she would file a Stalking Protection Order, which put Justin’s back up.

It was then that she told him a final time to leave her alone, before he made the chilling confession that he wasn’t going to do that.

We know that things are going to escalate even further in the coming weeks, as Justin targets Daisy in an acid attack.

Will he ever be stopped, or is he set to make the rest of Daisy’s life hell?
