Premier League managers pay tribute to Sir Bobby Charlton
Kate Beckinsale has paid tribute to Sir Bobby Charlton by sharing a memory from her childhood.
The 86-year-old is widely thought of as one of the UK’s most talented footballers, having spent much of his career at Manchester United as an attacking midfielder.
He was also part of the legendary England team that won the 1966 World Cup, alongside the likes of Bobby Moore and Alan Ball.
Charlton died on Saturday, October 21, surrounded by his loved ones, having been diagnosed with dementia three years earlier.
Floods of tributes from fans and celebrities have poured in, including from Van Helsing star Kate Beckinsale.

The 50-year-old took to Instagram to share a throwback black and white picture of herself, presumably in her teens next to none other than Charlton at a football stadium.
She is photographed next to the Manchester United legend as well as her dad and Porridge actor Richard Beckinsale.
It is known that the star, who died in the 1970s of a heart attack, was a big Manchester United fan so this could have been a father-daughter day out at the stadium.
Underneath the picture, Beckinsale wrote: “Rest in peace #sirbobbycharlton.
“My heart is with your family and everyone who has lost or is losing people.”

Charlton was considered as one of Manchester United’s greatest players, having scored 249 goals in the 758 appearances he made with the team.
He also won three First Division titles and the European Cup with United in 1968, so racked up a number of achievements before retiring in 1976.
In a statement, his wife Lady Norma and their two daughters Suzanne and Andrea said: “It is with great sadness that we share the news that Sir Bobby passed peacefully in the early hours of Saturday morning. He was surrounded by his family.
“His family would like to pass on their thanks to everyone who has contributed to his care and for the many people who have loved and supported him.”

A number of celebrities, in addition to Beckinsale, have posted tributes to the late great ex-footballer.
Some of which have come from Prince William, David Beckham, Gary Lineker and Eamonn Holmes, just to name a few.
Prime Minister Rishi Sunak also said he “has a place in history as one of the game’s greatest players and was hugely loved.”
