Good Morning Britain’s Ben Shephard has revealed Kate Garraway’s “smelly” work habit that doesn’t go down well with her co-stars.
Ben has been a regular on the ITV show for nearly a decade – with the TV star making his debut back in 2014. Since then, he’s co-hosted the programme alongside the likes of Kate and Susanna Reid.
However, it seems after all the years of working together, Ben still can’t get over one of Kate’s work habits. So much so that he has called her out over it.

Speaking about his recent stint on This Morning, Ben told The Mirror: “Amazing! You get an amazing lie-in and, as I pointed out to Susanna and Kate, they make amazing cheesecake or curry – the food they give you is wonderful.”
Susanna admitted that on their set, given the early hours, it's mostly just toast and tea up for grabs. But it seems not everyone settles for the standard at ITV.
Ben, no stranger to taking a swipe at Kate, then claimed how she doesn’t settle for toast and tea. Instead she opts for a rather smelly breakfast choice.
He said: “When Kate's on she gets eggs that smell really bad first thing in the morning as well! Kate and her eggs, you can imagine it can’t you?"
It comes after Ben left GMB co-host Kate less than impressed after he made a sly dig about her age. The Tipping Point host, 48, was presenting Friday's edition of the ITV show (October 6) last week with broadcaster Kate when they began to discuss conkers.

Ben and Kate played a game of conkers live on the show, with Kate putting her lack of skill in the game on full show for viewers. She admitted after she tried to break Ben's nut that she had never played the game before.
"I've never learned how to play conkers," Kate admitted before Ben took his swipe. He said: "Well, when you were back in school – you know, in the 1950s – you had to play conkers in the playground.
