It has been announced that Kate Middleton, the Princess of Wales, will host a Christmas carol service at Westminster Abbey, which will pay tribute to the late Queen.
Kate will host the ITV programme entitled Kate's Christmas at the Abbey, where a state funeral service was held for Queen Elizabeth II back in September.
The special event will be supported by the Royal Foundation and will honour the late monarch while celebrating "the selfless efforts" of those across the UK, ITV have revealed.

This will be the second time Kate has hosted a televised Christmas carol service.
Last year the Princess surprised viewers by accompanying Tom Walker on a piano, which left fans of the Royal Family completely taken aback when they tuned in.
The special carol service will take place on December 15, and will air on ITV the following week for the entire nation to enjoy.
Being aired on Christmas Eve, viewers will also be treated to sightings of members of the Royal Family who will be in attendance.
Kensington Palace announced the exciting and very festive news on their Twitter page on Friday night (November 4).
They said: "A date for your diary this December," before adding: "And you can join us for this very special Carol Service on @ITV on Christmas Eve."
Alongside the short message, the palace uploaded a video time-lapse of an artist drawing the famous Abbey.
Fans of the Royal Family were quick to comment on the joyous news, with one writing: "Beautiful! Can't wait!!! Tis the season!!!"
On Instagram where the same announcement was posted, one fan pleaded: "Will the Princess of Wales play the piano again? Please!"
Another then added: "So excited!!!! Can’t wait!! So glad the Princess is doing a Christmas special again!!"
