Kelvin Fletcher has been speaking about the possibility of returning to Emmerdale.
Kelvin, who played Andy Sugden in the ITV soap, was speaking at a ball set up by his co-stars Mark Jordon and Laura Norton, as well as the charity CUREUsher.
The evening is aiming to raise money for the charity, who help those living with Usher syndrome.
Both of Mark and Laura’s children – son Jesse and daughter Ronnie, who was born in October 2022, have Usher Syndrome – the rare genetic condition that affects both hearing and vision.
Laura and Mark went public with the news in February of this year, with Laura sharing that they first thought something was different in 2021 when Jesse failed hearing tests.
Spending the evening alongside his Emmerdale friends and other famous faces, Kelvin gave his thoughts on whether he’d return to the iconic village.
‘Never say never!’, he told Metro.co.uk.
‘It’s an incredible show, it’s got an unbelievable fanbase, since I left it’s gone from strength to strength…maybe that’s a sign I should stay away! I’ve just finished a drama, I left to go and explore other things artistically and not only that, have a bit of adventure!’
‘I watch the show as a fan now and I’m lucky in that sense.’
Elsewhere for the show, Super Soap Week, which will air next month, will put Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) at the centre of some hugely dramatic scenes.
Previously released pictures have shown the moment Charity and Mackenzie (Lawrence Robb) watch on in horror as a car tumbles down a cliff – with Chloe (Jessie Elland) supposedly trapped inside.
But who will make it out of the deadly week alive?
