AFTER months of turmoil involving his wife Abi, Kevin Webster is making the most of a drama-free life.
But peace never lasts long in Coronation Street and the mechanic gets shock news next week.
The long-standing Weatherfield resident played by Michael Le Vell was put through the wringer in 2022 after finding out his wife Abi (Sally Carman) had cheated on him with Imran Habeeb.
Initially ready to cut ties with Abi, Kevin seemed to backtrack when she unexpectedly gave birth to a baby named Alfie.
A tense custody battle followed the event and Kevin slowly warmed up to the idea of taking Alfie in and raising him as his own with Abi.
The idea became a reality as Kevin realised Abi was the only one for him and the pair managed to dodge all the drama that followed Imran Habeeb's shocking death.

Since then, the family has been making a go of things, although it hasn't always been easy for Kevin.
Last year, before Abi came back to stay in the cobbles for good, Kevin buckled under the pressure and acted out by destroying Stephen Reid's car.
However, in scenes due on ITV next week, Kevin gets another devastating blow, months after finally finding balance in his life.

What sort of trouble is ahead for the mechanic?
Bill Webster hasn't been seen in Weatherfield since 2011 and he only appeared to attend granddaughter Sophie's wedding to Sian Powers – which didn't even go ahead.
A family man first and foremost, Bill decided it was time to look after himself and moved away to Germany after retiring from his job as a builder.
While he didn't visit his children Kevin and Debbie Webster much, Bill kept in touch.

This allowed Kevin to find out Bill had a heart attack in 2013.
At the time, Kevin decided to leave Weatherfield for Germany with his son Jack to tend to Bill before coming back in March 2014 when his father made progress.
Unfortunately, Bill broke his leg a month later, forcing Kevin to rush back to Germany to take care of him.
Kevin returned to Weatherfield soon after, hinting all was finally well with Bill.
