Kim Fox’s (Tameka Empson) mental health struggles are set to continue as she returns to Albert Square in upcoming EastEnders scenes, and she is soon hit with even more bad news.
Kim started to experience panic attacks following her near fatal car accident back in April.
Denzel Danes (Jaden Ladega) was left fighting for his life after Kim swerved to avoid a pedestrian and crashed straight into the Argee Bhajee, having been distracted by incriminating texts from Ravi Gulati (Aaron Thiara) on sister Denise’s (Diane Parish) phone.
She soon faced sentencing for dangerous driving, and was held in contempt of court when the judge failed to realise that she was having a panic attack on the stand.
In upcoming scenes, Kim attempts to hide her true emotions as she returns home, maintaining a façade to prevent Howie (Delroy Atkinson) and the kids from realising how ill she still is.

She confides in Sonia Fowler (Natalie Cassidy) who advises her on available treatment options.
However, it’s bad news for Kim as she reveals that the waiting lists are particularly long.
As their conversation draws to a close, Kim asks Sonia not to mention any part of their conversation to Howie, still determined not to worry him
Despite her feelings, Kim decides to go back to work, but it isn’t long before she’s wracked with another panic attack, and she can’t keep her secret from Howie any longer.
When he and Eve Unwin (Heather Peace) realise that The Albert isn’t open, they rush inside to find Kim huddled up in the dark.
Devastated that she had kept the full extent of her troubles from him, Howie begs her to let him help, and she reluctantly agrees.
He soon takes control of things, organising for Kim to take time off work and finding her a therapist specialising in PTSD, leaving Kim grateful for his support.
Will Kim finally get the help she needs?
