Kim Tate (Claire King) warned Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick) about her future at Home Farm in Emmerdale.
The beloved character usually works as a cleaner at the Tate household, but has regularly called in sick.
We know that Lydia isn’t unwell, but is actually struggling in the aftermath of being raped by Craig (Ben Addis). Her change in behaviour is concerning Kim but because she doesn’t know the truth, she’s been left under the impression Lydia is somewhat messing her about with the Home Farm job.
Sadly, as a result of being unable to open up about the attack to anyone, Lydia is also at the centre of some village gossip.

This was picked up again tonight (October 4), as Samson (Sam Hall) secretly headed to work at Craig’s offices.
A curious Samson wondered why his work experience was initially stopped and what was going on with Lydia, which allowed Craig to bend the story.
He implied that he and Lydia have strong feelings for each other, but he wanted to stop things before it got out of hand. As Samson listened, Craig continued to imply that Lydia had betrayed Sam (James Hooton).
Returning home, Samson was on the phone and chatted about Lydia and Craig being in love with each other. This was picked up by Mandy (Lisa Riley), who was walking Chip the dog.
While Mandy expressed her suspicions to Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) and said that she’s determined to find out the truth, Lydia was in the pub talking to Kim.
Finding her in the Woolpack certainly didn’t look good. While Lydia said she had popped by to see Amelia (Daisy Campbell) and Esther, Kim wondered why she couldn’t work if she was feeling well enough to go to the pub.
Kim was calm in her approach, but told Lydia that if she fails to turn up at Home Farm one more time, she’ll find her replacement.
We know Lydia will eventually tell Kim that she was attacked by Craig, but can she bring herself to reveal what happened to Sam as well?
