KIM Kardashian has confirmed that she is attending the 2023 Met Gala and even shared a sneak peek of her look.
It was previously rumored that the Hulu star lost her invitation to the high-profile event.
Kim, 42, posted pics of herself in a Paris hotel room, revealing in the caption: "Had a date with @choupetteofficiel in Paris.
"We spent some time in @KarlLagerfeld's office to get a little inspiration for the Met."
In the first photo in the bunch, the SKKN mogul was seen laying on a lavish bed with a gold tufted headboard with floral fabric and gold embellishments all around the top.
There was a large gold fixture above the bed.
Kim wore her long brown hair in a natural wavy style hanging loosely past her shoulders.
She had on a leather-looking black top.
The fashion mogul was seen laying alongside a fluffy white and grey cat.
She shared another photo of herself leaning over the side of the same bed, making a kissy face at the same cat.

More of the bed in the previous photo could be seen as well as the fixture – a large gold clock.
In another pic, Kim stood with her back to the camera while combing through a wall of fashion sketches.
She had a hand on one of the drawings she was looking at.
A fourth snap showed Kim ascending a grand staircase while looking at a massive photo.
She wore knee-high high-heeled boots.
In another pic, Kim was seen standing with another person in front of a massive photo of Karl.
There was a desk in front of them and they appeared to be looking at a stack of papers – perhaps drawings from the late fashion icon.
In another photo she once again posed in front of a large photo of Karl, this time smiling slightly.
Her second to last pic showed her laying on the same bed from the first snaps with the cat.
Another camera – perhaps a video camera – could be seen in the corner of the pic.
Lastly, Kim shared a video of her and the cat laying on the bed together.
GOING TO THE GALA
The KUWTK alum attended the Met Gala in 2022 with her family by her side for the first time.
She has been several times before but the rest of her famous family has never been invited.
For the event, Kim hit the red carpet with then-boyfriend Pete Davidson by her side.
She wore Marilyn Monroe's iconic Happy Birthday Mr. President dress to the gala.
She faced backlash over the gown and was accused of ruining it, however, earlier this week it was reported that the dress may actually be more valuable now.
Auctioneer Martin Nolan of Julien's, who is presiding over a mammoth 1,400 item auction in Beverly Hills this weekend which will see John Travolta's white suit from 'Saturday Night Fever' up for grabs, suggested the dress could now be worth upwards of $10 million.
Back in 1999, the dress, famously worn by Monroe when serenading then-US President John F. Kennedy in 1962, was sold for $1.2 million.
Julien's got their hands on it in 2016 and were able to move it on for a world record $4.8million.
Nolan, however, is convinced Kim's Met Gala appearance has ensured the value has doubled.
"It would go for over $10million now because Kim wore it," Nolan confirmed to The U.S. Sun.
Nolan insists the prices of such memorabilia have soared since the onset of the Covid-19 pandemic with people stuck at home and having more time on their hands to hunt out bargains.
He helped sell the guitar used by Nirvana's frontman Kurt Kobain's guitar in the legendary 'MTV Unplugged' session in the 90's for a whopping $6million.
MOCKING MARILYN?
Despite this fact, fans still aren't keen on Kim wearing the dress – even nearly a year later.
The Skims founder was slammed as a "Marilyn Monroe copycat" by critics after debuting her new blonde hairstyle at the Met Gala.
Before the big night, Kim and Pete, 29, were spotted leaving Ripley's Believe It or Not! in Florida.
They spent about three hours at the attraction, which is home to the iconic dress that Marilyn Monroe wore to sing Happy Birthday, Mr. President to John F. Kennedy in 1962.
Fans were furious after finding out and only grew angrier after getting a glimpse at the full look.
"Imagine comparing Kim Kardashian to THE Marilyn Monroe? Oh my god……" one Twitter user wrote.
"We’ve gone from Beyonce being the last to arrive… to Kim Kardashian," blasted another.
"I wanted bigger fluffy hair, not that stupid slick back bun," lamented a third.
