Lauren hiding huge secret as sex blackmail plot fails in Coronation Street | The Sun

WAYWARD teen Lauren Bolton is desperate for cash and found the perfect plan when she caught Ryan Connor with Daisy Midgeley.

Unfortunately for the young Coronation Street villain, not every plan is successful in the cobbles. What will she do?

Cait Fitton reprised her role as the troubled Lauren Bolton earlier this year and has been wreaking havoc in the ITV soap.

In most recent scenes, Lauren found out her flatmate Ryan Connor (portrayed by Ryan Prescott) had slept with Daisy Midgeley (Charlotte Jordan) and she decided to use the betrayal to her advantage.

Lauren blackmailed Daisy and Ryan into giving her £1k as they were desperate to keep her quiet.

However, if seems Lauren isn't being upfront about everything as she's clearly keeping a dark secret next week.

She tells an angry Ryan that she is having a bad time and has to get the money.

A furious Daisy comes into the café later on and spells out to Lauren that she won’t be blackmailed by a worthless brat such as her and she won’t be getting another penny.

How will Lauren react?

After saving Daisy Midgeley from an acid attack, Ryan Connor has struggled to keep his romantic feelings for her under wraps.

The pair have shared a troubled history and appeared to have bonded platonically but things took a turn when Justin Rutherford's actions led to them spending more time connecting.

After letting their feelings guide them straight to bed, both characters are in the Bistro next week and Daisy’s annoyed to clock a customer staring at Ryan’s scars.

When Ryan calmly explains that he was the victim of an acid attack, Daisy is full of admiration for him.

As Daisy praises Ryan for the way he’s coped with his injuries and Ryan admits he couldn’t have done it without her, it’s clear they still have feelings for each other.

When Ryan later admits that he’s in love with Daisy and reckons she feels the same, Debbie Webster (Sue Devaney) advises him to steer well clear as he’ll end up getting hurt.

This is mostly due to the fact that the former Rovers barmaid has agreed to marry another resident – her long-term boyfriend Daniel Osbourne (Rob Mallard).

Blissfully unaware of what is really going on between Ryan and his fiancée, Daniel tells Daisy that he plans to take Bertie to visit Sinead’s grave later as it’s four years since her death.

Able to keep up appearances, Daisy squeezes his hand supportively.

Much to her shock, however, Daniel then suggests to Daisy he’ll sell his mother’s house and buy Elaine Jones’ flat in Redbank.

When Daisy suggests they delay moving until she’s got a proper job, Daniel is disappointed.

Will Daniel try to find out what is going on?
