Loose Women's star Linda Robson has revealed that she was once "envious" of her former co-star Pauline Quirke.

During Friday afternoon's show (April 28), Christine McGuinness questioned the panel on whether jealousy in relationships was ever a good thing.

Kicking off the discussion, Linda shed light on her friendship with her Birds of a Feather co-star Pauline and how she became "envious" that she was being offered more serious roles.

But although Linda had previously denied that there was a feud between them she openly admitted that she wanted a "little bit" of her success.

She said: "So I've never really been jealous of Pauline Quirk but I used to be envious of all the roles she got like dramas and everything.

"I used to think 'lovely, I'm really pleased for you but I would love to do some drama role as well."'

She added: "But now I am doing drama roles, so I don't have to be envious any more do I!

"But no jealousy can be a terrible thing really."

Linda that clarified: "I was delighted she was so successful but I just wanted a little bit of it as well and I wished I had got that."

Panellist Judi Love added: "At least you're honest about it," to which Linda responded: "She knows as well because I would go 'oh you lucky cow, wish I was doing that."

Linda and Pauline have both shut down rumours that their was a rift between them after reports claimed that they had fallen out and was no longer on speaking terms.

Reports also claimed that the pair's feud resulted in Pauline refusing to take part in Bird of a Feather's 30th anniversary show in 2019.

But Linda later revealed that she never had an issue with her friend and co-star.

Talking to The Mirror, she said: "It’s a load of old sh** that we had a fallout.

"We have not fallen out and we have never fallen out."

"I have been best friends with her since we were 10 years of age. We never fell out."
