Lorraine Chats About Her Zimbabwe Holiday Adventures
Lorraine viewers took to social media to fume about the presenter’s long break as she described her holiday to Zimbabwe.
Entertainment reporter Ross King began: “It’s great to have you back. Now, before we get anywhere else, I want to know all about this most amazing adventure – Zimbabwe!
“Come on, tell me more, show me pics, I want to see it all.”
“Ross, it’s the most beautiful, beautiful country, Zimbabwe,” Lorraine replied.
She continued: “We hired a Jeep. I know they’re all watching this morning, somehow.

“There we are crossing the river it was just beautiful. There’s Steve, he’s so good he drove, and then you sleep on top of the tent.”
Commenting on the footage being shown, she added: “Oh, they’re my favorite – warthogs. My favourite, favourite little animals, absolutely gorgeous.
“That’s me Ross, in the tent – first thing in the morning, poking my head out of the tent. It was great, just such good, good fun.”
Later, she explained: “We’re going back next year, decided already, we’re going back.

“The only thing is you know how we talk about inflation in this country, well inflation over there is nuts, we went for a meal that was as quarter of a million dollars!
“Which was quite expensive I thought, but when you put it into American dollars it’s $40, but inflation is crazy, but you sort it, it’s fine.”
ITV viewers rushed to complain as Lorraine continued to “brag” about her luxury holiday with @SVSHbackagain writing: “Awwww so nice to have #Lorraine back, laughing at the financial turmoil of an African country and their inflation nightmares. #gmtv.”
